Community is vital for our alternative provision because it fosters a sense of belonging, supports children and young people that attend, and strengthens the value of our aim as a whole. Strong community involvement leads to better outcomes and connections.

We opened up to our neighbours and those who work alongside us, to families and friends.
It was a fun filled day of chocolate lolly decorating, animal handling, games like hook a duck, archery, traditional forest egg hunting and all followed by a well deserved hot cross bun!

A time to celebrate Easter, make connections and just have some fun.

It also felt good to give back to the Rotherfield Estate for everything they do for us. Forever grateful for their support!

Photos…Children having a staring competition with ‘Drizzle’ the dragon.
Watching ‘Brian’ the snail coming out of his shell.
Feeding the bunnies/ cuddling a chicken!
Painting a blank canvas with whatever we liked the look of!

All creating and exploring which is within the Newton Wood Barn Offer. A great day to remember!
